LNG SUMMIT REVIEW

The Bridge team recently returned from Amsterdam, where we sponsored and exhibited at LNG Bunkering & Future Fuels Global Summit 2024, one of the most established LNG Bunkering events.
This year’s event was the biggest to date, with over 250 business leading delegates from across the entire industry - ship owners/operators, ports, terminals, O&G providers, financiers, classicisation societies, engineers and more.  Discussions focussed on LNG, BIO/ Synthetic/ E-LNG and the early development of Ammonia, Methanol and Hydrogen.

The objective of the summit was to discuss how the sector is optimizing fuel choices and seeking new procurement strategies, as well as highlighting the latest technologies and products driving a cleaner future for the industry.

Anthony Mollet, Bridge’s Commercial Manager, commented, “Whilst at its core Bridge is designed to enable a seamless bunker transaction, it is essentially product agnostic and completely flexible, making it perfectly positioned for future fuels.”

The Bridge stand drew enormous interest from procurement managers from major shipping companies, cruise lines and energy majors, where the app’s key functions and future features were demonstrated.  “Bridge was developed by listening to fuel buyers and suppliers and understanding their requirements, and the event provided further essential opinion and feedback, as well as demonstrating our commitment to and alignment with future fuels,” concluded Anthony Mollet.
